After serving as a youth pastor for several years, Mel Walker became president and cofounder of Vision for Youth, an international network for youth ministry. He also taught youth ministry courses and held administrative roles at Faith Baptist Bible College and Clarks Summit University. Mel has been a frequent speaker at youth, church leadership, family life, and parenting conferences, reaching thousands of students, church leaders, and youth workers each year, and has organized and led many regional, statewide, and national youth and youth ministry conferences and events. Mel and his wife, Peggy, have three adult children.
