Purpose:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Marketing Project coordinator will facilitate and drive marketing projects in relation to all Regular Baptist Ministries.
Major Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison to all ministries which will include: idea generation, project driver, and coordination of efforts.
- Develop, implement, and monitor effectiveness of promotional strategy including advertising, direct-to-customer communications, conference materials, web prescence, etc. for all Regular Baptist Ministries.
- Manage and monitor program for assessing potential markets and customer demand including customer feedback.
- Provide marketing resources for sales personnel as requested by Business Director.
- Continuously gather and share professional, technical, and trade developments essential to the marketing of the company’s products.
- Evaluate and recommend strategic partnerships.
- Create PowerPoint and other presentation resources.
- Evaluate and recommend new products for development or acquisition.
- Create and manage mailing lists for marketing pieces.
- Corporate communications (i.e., press releases, web communications, magazines articles)
Key Interaction:
- Coordinate marketing projects with staff of each ministry.
- Communicate with sales personnel and directly with existing and potential customers to determine customer demand and requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Commitment to mission of Regular Baptist Ministries
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing management experience
- BA or BS in business, marketing, or closely related area
- Track record as an effective project manager
- Strengths in the following: organizational skills, analytical skills, verbal and written skills, proactive, strategic thinking skills, ability to work independently, as well as in a team, solid decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with leadership
- Church ministry experience required (staff or volunteer)
- Knowledge of Christian publishing preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications required
